I’m ramping up for my stand at the BSF on Saturday 7th October, making work exploring the reaction between dissimilar metals (mainly copper and iron) in the presence of an electrolyte (my secret printing formula!). This is the first time I have delved into the galvanic corrosion process in a methodical way, attempting to produce prints that are educational as well as beautiful. I’ll bring one or 2 plates along so folk can see the metals next to the prints to help clarify how the images come about. There will be original prints for sale too of course.

It’s all going on next Saturday (i’ll be there) and Sunday (i won’t be there but there’s lots of other amazing things happening!), 7th and 8th October, full details here: http://www.biggarsciencefestival.co.uk/
